We are pleased to announce our investment in StockTwits today. StockTwits is an open, community-powered, investment idea and information service, like “Bloomberg for the little guy and gal.” The company is also a pioneer in the microblogging news and media markets.
True’s very own @tonysphere (Tony Conrad) identified Howard and Soren early on as leading thinkers and doers in the emerging real-time marketplace. Since we first met, the duo have launched and iterated many times, built a powerful product, attracted a rabid following, and experienced tremendous growth.
StockTwits is exciting for us for many reasons, but, first and foremost, it is because of the team. True strives to work with passionate and talented visionaries, and Howard and Soren are great examples of the type of people we admire and respect.
