Welcome Tim Young & Socialcast

Earlier this month, we had a chance to partner with Tim Young and his team and invest in his start-up, Socialcast. Tim has a vision of building a new kind of communication platform for enterprises – both big and small. The platform allows companies to create private online communities, share ideas, ask questions, dig up knowledge buried in the diverse minds that form an enterprise. The company has raised $1.4 million from us and well known angel investors. Socialcast will be moving its offices to San Francisco. As part of this investment, True Ventures’ venture partner, GigaOm founder Om Malik would join SocialCast’s board of directors. Welcome Tim, and thank you for making us part of your dream.
