Madeline Minshew Now Partner at True Ventures

What Founders remember about an investor is never the check. It's who picked up the phone at the hard moment, and who made the introduction that changed their company’s trajectory. Founders also remember the small moments of humanity and encouragement that have outsized impact. 

Today we're proud to share that Madeline Minshew has been named a Partner at True Ventures. As a member of multiple early teams herself, Madeline knows exactly how important the earliest moments of building are to a Founder’s mindset and confidence. She’s impacted hundreds of Founders and their teams during her seven years building True’s Founder Experience. Now as a Partner, Madeline will have even more impact and ability to help the Founders across True succeed.

Building alongside our Founders

Madeline and her team build the programs, opportunities, and infrastructure that give True Founders an unfair advantage: access to the insights, people, and resources that move the needle fast as they build enduring, category-defining companies.

Over the past year, Madeline has designed the next generation of that work, helping position True as an AI-native firm that’s actively building alongside its community of Founders rather than commentating from the sidelines. 

She created True's AI Workflow Summits, where portfolio Founders and AI builders from across the ecosystem sit down, hands-on-keyboards together, to invent and ship AI-native workflows inside their own companies — and, in some cases, start entirely new ones from what they built in the room.

Her leadership in connecting our network to the greater enterprise AI community through industry conference Connected Stack, now in its second year, has helped to accelerate new partnerships, enterprise deals, and firm-to-firm collaboration in a way that advances us all. 

She’s also accelerated True's brand and community tooling, launching resource hubs and cross-community insight sharing that put what one Founder learns in front of the next.

Two decades of scaling teams

Madeline joined True in 2019 following her VP of People and Talent role at Handshake, a True portfolio company where she was an early team member. Handshake has since grown into the leading career network for the AI economy. 

She has long been a fan of the early and scrappy days of company-building, scaling teams and operations in her roles at Google, Tumblr, and Cadre. 

And prior to joining True formally, she contributed to our community by leading a talk on scaling inclusive cultures at one of early platform events, True University, and publishing content on the topic to our blog. We’ve spent a decade knowing the clear value Madeline brings to the table.
